Sunrise_over_Pacific Sunrise over the North Pacific, I froze getting this one, but I love the effect. This is one of the few sunrise images that I have printed from slides, it's just too hard to pick a few.
The "Cobra Ball" RC-135 Reconnaissance Aircraft:
A sample of the fine balmy weather that is so prevalent. This was during a lull in one of the worst storms I've ever seen, the winds were absolutely amazing. I used to have some of the weather observations somewhere. For a while the sustained winds were over 100 miles-per-hour. Only fools and weathermen ventured out.
